Jay D. Fishman, Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Fishman brings diverse management expertise to Associated Hotels, LLC. He joined us in 1994 after serving as Senior Vice President/Hotel Investments at VMS Realty Partners for ten years where he handled the acquisitions, management, and disposition of over 40 hotels – from mid-market to five-star resorts. His expertise includes the development and implementation of workout strategies and loan restructuring, hotel repositioning, negotiation and administration of management and franchise agreements, and portfolio management. Prior to joining VMS, Mr. Fishman worked in public accounting for four (4) years. In 2003, Mr. Fishman served as the President of International Association of Holiday Inn Owners (IAHI) and remains active today most recently as Chairman of the Priority Club committee. Mr. Fishman graduated from Indiana University in 1979 with a B.S. in Accounting.

Jay B Rosenthal, Chief Operating Officer

Jay brings multiple years of diverse leadership experience in operating upscale, lifestyle, boutique and luxury hotels and casinos in various markets throughout the United States. While attending UNLV, Jay worked fulltime at the Flamingo Hilton and since then has spent time leading teams coast to coast with such brands as Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, Doubletree, Westin, W Hotels as well as Independents. In between his Starwood tours of duty, Jay served as VP of Hospitality at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa as well as EVP at the Harp Group, a Chicago based hotel development and acquisition firm. Most recently Jay worked at First Hospitality Group where he was responsible for overseeing a group of select service, luxury full service and lifestyle hotels in addition to serving as Director of Development and ultimately Corporate Director of Food & Beverage. Jay has served on the boards of the Illinois Hotel & Lodging Association as its’ 2015 Chairman of the Board in addition to serving as a Board of Trustees for the Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts, Chicago. Jay has also served on the boards of the American Hotel & Lodging Association, Chicago Convention & Visitors Bureau (now Choose Chicago), Michigan Avenue Association, Atlantic City Hotel & Lodging Association and the San Francisco Hotel Council. Jay has a proven ability through a very “hands-on” approach in increasing profitability and productivity without sacrificing quality service. His success has come from being a proven team-leader and seasoned change agent. His motivating, inspiring and inclusive style of leadership has won him accolades over the years.

Bryan G. Curry, Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Curry comes to AHLLC with over 20 years of financial experience. Seven (7) of those years he spent in public accounting where he specialized in hotel and real estate auditing and taxation. In 1985, Mr. Curry became the Chief Financial Officer of Seymour N. Logan Associates, Inc. and he is currently responsible for all of Associated Hotels' financial activities including financing, tax planning, and reporting. Mr. Curry has been a member of the IAHI serving as Central Region Committee Chairman and is a member of the Revenue Performance Committee. He retains his public accounting license and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois Certified Public Accountants Society. Mr. Curry earned his Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from DePaul University.

Tami Simmons, Vice President Revenue & E-Commerce Strategies

Tami's career has spanned 20 years in the hospitality industry. She has been a Night Auditor, Guest Service Representative, Guest Relations Manager, Director of Room Revenue, Rooms Division Manager and Assistant General Manager at several different properties, and has been with AHLLC since 1997. In her role with AHLLC, she is responsible for maximizing Room Revenue through the development and implementation of inventory and pricing strategies across all brands. She is also responsible for providing ongoing training to Revenue Team members about the capabilities and limitations of the hotels' systems and how strategies are carried out through these systems. Tami has been trained on most hotel systems and is responsible for all TPI transactions and Social Marketing

Don Szuberski, Vice President Accounting/Corporate Controller

Don has over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry.  After attending Mankato Technical College for accounting, Don joined Seymour N. Logan Associates in 1986 and continued with Associated Hotels, LLC.  He has vast knowledge in the Food and Beverage, Front Desk, Night Audit and Accounting operations.  Don oversees the daily and monthly financial reporting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable and cash flow reporting for all hotels in our portfolio.  He also has been part of our computer implementations for Front Office and Food and Beverage departments.  Don conducts internal audits and trains on-site accounting personnel for the individual hotels.
